- The wars had a bad effect on the relations between Austria and Serbia because they ended up with Serbia having more land and becoming more powerful. This mattered to Austria because there were millions of Serbs being ruled by Austria in its empire and Serbia wanted them to be free.

- The First Balkan Wars doubled the size of Serbia.
- Austria stopped Serbia from having a coastline.

- It did have a bad effect because the wars set a lot of countries against each other, and this was not good for the relations between Serbia and Austria who became enemies.
